I found my inspiration back to draw

I has been a few weeks since I have drawn anything, except for helping out my daughter. And I was desperately waiting for my inspiration to come back. Yesterday I found this doodle drawing on Steemit which inspired me to start doodling again too. I had no idea what I was going to draw, just started and hoped it would turn out ok.

The beginning sucks

If you ask me this looks like it will not end up being something I actually will like lol, but I pushed myself to keep going. See where my pen will take me.

At this point I still was clueless

I didn't really get in the flow, and was looking at my paper a lot before I continued. But being at the step shown below in the picture I finally had a few things that I actually liked, so I thought ok, this might work.

My neck started hurting

Because (as usual lol) I was looking down way too long on my sketch book and I realized it was probably a good time to stop for now, and finish the drawing the next day. It was not that far from being finished as you can see below.

The end result

Although I see some spots that should be a little bit improved, I am quite happy with the result. Below you can see the drawing with my name and on top of the post you can find the picture of the end result without my name. Maybe I will make some more doodle drawing soon, because you can end up with something totally different as you expected when you started.

I love this kind of art. Have plans to begin a zentangle type collaboration soonish.

Birds, snakes, leaves. Very fun patterns indeed. Thank you for sharing this @anouk.nox. I always love me some detailed expression!

Gaaf werk!

I am missing the elephant, but the bird is there for sure.

This kind of drawing, but not as good, is what I did at school, while waiting for class to end :)

Don't worry I don't see an elephant either, and I really just did some random drawing and without knowing the end result. That part about school, yeah I recognize that for sure hehe.. many many of those were done during those years lol

In class it always started with a word in balloon letters and then curves and lines in all directions :)

Nice drawings @anouk.nox! 😃

Keep it up! They look great. Good work. This has happened to me many times before. Now What happens is I want to put some concept into the doodles. I think I got bored of just filling up pages. I don't discriminate though, doodling is awesome, with or without a concept.

wow!!
Awesome!! I love your style. This was terrific art work. I love your enthusiasm!!!

Thank you lol, I still don't know that my style is actually.. Today I draw this, tomorrow it may be a portrait thing... it's never the same lol.. Love to experiment with different materials (pencil, brush, watercolour pencils, fineliner etc) Have a great sunday! thanks for stopping by!

most welcme :)

Nice work. I see some kind of bird merged with a elefant. Peace and Love <3 I follow you now :)

Thank you so much! I am not totally happy (but I guess I never am to be honest lol)
Funny that my boyfriend also said he saw an elephant in there haha.. he was like "yeah" when I just told him you did too ;) I'm heading to your page too! Have a great sunday @yoganarchista

Nice drawing. I don't know what it is but it sure looks better than anything I could do!

what i get to see a jungle representation, hehehe with leaf, snakes and flowers, and at the bottom of the jungle a place where you find fantasy. Greetings @anouk.nox, i really like this technique, i've always wanted to do something like that but i have not succeeded, now you have inspired me :-).

It came out great! I would love to color it, haha!
I know what you mean about your neck hurting, every time I do something like this, I end up with a crick in my neck from sitting at a funny angle...

Thank you @squishysquid last year when I started creating drawings like this, I did colour them afterwards, but now I'm gonna leave it like this. That neck pain is something that once made me stop drawing for a week because of every muscle being stuck in that area lol

Gaaf werk!

I love this @anouk.nox. How long did it take you finish in the end?

I see all sorts in there; cuttlefish, leaves, a Peruvian basket, an upside down tabla drum. Wish I could doodle that well :-)

What a beautiful drawing!
