You can’t expect to obtain results if you didn’t do the work to achieve them.

If you have to cheat to win, you’ve already lost.

Work so hard that the truth of who you are is good enough on its own. Your work will define you more than past actions.

Experience does not equal success. Experience does mean that one is less likely to make beginners mistakes and thus they are more likely to be successful.

The smartest person usually isn’t the loudest. The class clown usually is the most intelligent.

Leaders and Managers are both important categories of people. A thought leader must be able to be able to both manage and lead effectively.

Building a brand around yourself is more important long term than building up any individual product.

Creating a network early will allow your content a space to be consumed quicker than once it’s released into the public sphere.

Creating a buzz is about creating a spectacle and directing it towards a desired action.

There are three major stages to producing something, waiting until the last minute to consider major mistakes can be financially fatal to a campaign.

Nothing is perfect. Plan, execute and adjust. If perfection is your aim you will be stuck on the same project for longer than the average person will consider what you are worried about.

People were doing what you want to do long before you wanted to do it. You are standing on their shoulders with more opportunities than they had, and have the ability right now to achieve more than they ever could.

No one has time to waste, yet everybody wastes time consuming other people’s content instead of creating their own.

Your money should go towards what you value. Your health, your safety, training in your profession and food should be where your money goes in your 20s.

If you don’t know what you want to do after two years of college, travel. You might have to learn a language anyway and it will show you where opportunities are in the world that you might have never considered.

Getting into college isn’t the same thing as graduating from college. Getting into college is an accomplishment, finishing with not just a piece of paper but also knowledge to apply as wisdom is the goal.

Getting into college and slacking off is wasting your time and your money. Even if you aren’t paying for your tuition, room and board isn’t free and your time is valuable.

Don’t go to school only as a means to supplement your income and not take the time to learn, discover and explore what your university has to offer.

There is always somebody better than you and worse than you in anything. Your goal is just to be the best you that you can be every day. Doing that will make you a winner over time.

Success is not just about money. Money can come and go. Money can be given based off a new networking contact and it can be taken away because of a lost job.

Success is how you feel about yourself and how you make a living every day. A key way of self correction is asking if you would want your child to follow in your footsteps.

College is the slow lane to the real world. You can learn a lot of important concepts in college, but knowledge on how to survive in the society is not equal to academic knowledge.

College is for stepping outside of your comfort zone and listening to other viewpoints and questioning your own.

College is a great place to attend, but don’t neglect what your contributions should be to the world while focusing on your studying.

Don’t take advice from people you don’t know well or wouldn’t want to switch places with. People present the best of themselves and their true nature will only be shown with time.

Learning from others will not stop you from making your own mistakes. Learning from others will remind you that when you hit a rough time that others have gone through similar situations and survived and so will you.

Thousands of generations of people came before you, and countless will come after you, doing someone else’s work instead of doing your own is a waste of your talents.

There are several ways to learn how to do the job that you want to do. You can attend college whether at a university or in a community setting
