Can Lavar Ball decentralize college basketball?

Lavar Ball announced that he will start his own league for High School seniors who don’t want to play for colleges. College sports are broken and corrupt. The argument that these college athletes are amateur is a farce. In most states in the United States the highest paid public employee is either a football or basketball coach. The colleges are singing billion dollar broadcasting deals, coaches are making millions, broadcasters are making millions, and yet the only people who are not making money from their work are the athletes. Seems odd to me that if Michael Porter jr. were to open a steemit account he would lose his scholarship, and yet coach K can sign a million dollar contract with a sneaker company, and no one bats an eye.
