Hello, this is my very first STEEMIT post. I just want to share my situation right now. Please bare with me because I am not that good in expressing my feelings.

"Graduation is getting a diploma or academic degree or the ceremony that is sometimes associated with it, in which students become graduates. Before the graduation, candidates are referred to as graduands. The date of graduation is often called graduation day. The graduation ceremony itself is also called commencement, convocation or invocation. Normally, the ceremony and name apply to high school and above (the next ascending levels being Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate). When ceremonies are associated, they usually include a procession of the academic staff and candidates and a valediction. At the college and university level the faculty will usually wear academic dress at the formal ceremonies, as will the trustees and degree candidates.

"Graduation" at the college and university level occurs when the presiding officer confers degrees upon candidates, either individually or en masse, even if graduates physically receive their diploma later at a smaller college or departmental ceremony. After degree completion, graduates can be referred to by their graduating year.

In some places, graduation parties to celebrate graduation from school, college or university are popular. When a student graduates without attending the ceremony, then it is called graduation in absentia. "

Wow, that was a long introduction. As you can see in that picture, I am wearing the so called "Best OOTD"of a student's life.for us millennials, OOTD means "Outfit of the Day". Beside me is my sister and brother with my mom. It was taken last October 17, 2017 . You can say just by looking at these pictures that it was a joyful celebration of my "Graduation". But behind these pictures lies a mixed emotion of sadness, frustration, anger and depression. I am one of those students who graduated without March. It means , the school did not include my name on the final list of graduating students. I was not included to join the Commencement Exercises. What breaks my heart the most is that my mom was so excited about this most awaited event in my life because finally, I was about to finish my studies at college. Finally, she can see me marching on stage receiving that diploma wearing toga. My mom is residing very far from the city. She lives in the province with my grandma and two half-siblings. It will take 4 hours of travel by bus.

Sadly, the most awaited part of my life yet did not happen as expected. I was so down. My heart is aching but I did not show it to my mom. I hid my emotions. Actually my heart is aching until now. I am literally crying writing these down which makes it harder to think what to write. I find it hard to express in words and write down in detail what exactly happened. I guess I'll have to continue this when I feel a little better.

The reason how did it happen? You'll find out soon. I can't concentrate well right now. I'm sorry.
