Today I learned about Colonel Jean-Bédel Bokassa, who took over the Central African Republic and changed its name to the Central African Empire.

So far everything is fine, but Emperor Buxa has chosen to make a $ 20 million coronation ceremony for himself, about a third of the new state budget.

The rule of Bokassa as emperor lasted about three years, and then was overthrown and the name of the state returned to normal.
