these masks are from Benin and are today displayed in the "Weltmuseum Wien" (world museum vienna).
what do you think, was there a chance for any african country/reign to withstand europe? When was the time of no return, the point where it was utterly pointless to resist in a meaningful manner anymore?
Please let me know what you think about that topic.
