Chromotherapy is the study of color frequencies, how it relates to sound and how that effects the development of life. It was defined in various cultures througout the ages, but was most descriptively and accurately described by Pythargoras of Samos. He connected the frequency patterns of color and sound frequencies to different types triangles. The hindus worked toward connecting these sounds and colors to emotions, actions and reactions.

This picure is a chart that shows the color spectrums as if they were equal in size. The energy starts from the black infra dot in the middle and moves laterally through the color spectrum. After passing the white stage which is all colors combined, the energy begins to remove colors from the mix. This leaves with an energy that is invisible to the human eye, but effects life with ultrasonic frequency.

The same system can be translated into sound as well. The difference between tone and pitch is not usually recognized because factors of both cross over to one another. Pitch would be defined as the position of the note, and tone is defined as the quality of the note. Pitch is only dependent on which note is used, even if the most subtle change is made. There many different types of vibrados, but the most common one is when the note's pitch vibrates. With tone, you can describe the pitch as shrill, open, closed, thich, thin, quite, loud, distorded, sustained, distained; but also it could be used to describe which octive set of pitches you're using. A less common use for vibrado is to fluidly change the tonal quality of a note without changing pitch. The pitch will depend on which color specrum is used, as the rainbow is split up into sections much like forms of the musical scale. Tone is the addition of black and white to the sound spectrum and controls the lateral position on the color wheel.

Different physiological effects can happen depending on the color or sound spectrum used. The quality of the color or sound spectrum will depend on the intensity of the physiological change.
