After learning we are expecting, @amvanaken and I went looking for work that would resonate with our hearts and that we would truly enjoy.
I get the joy of working in this magical Apothecary owned by 2 amazing sisters who bring herbal medicine to Manitou Springs.
This apothecary is in a historic building that was built in the 1800’s and used to be a church. The stained class throughout is a beautiful reminder of it’s past lives.
We make everything in house and the entire store is organic! We sell all bulk herbs, clays, and salts. I love to refill the herb jars and get to smell and see all the different herbs. It feels very powerful to be reminded of the healing power of our bodies and of Mother Earth.
We make full strength tinctures and bitter that are absolutely amazing!! They are made with organic cane alcohol so they are gluten free as well. We will make custom herb blends for our customers too.
We have hand made candles with crystals and pure essential oils in them. We will be making more Friday and I will post some pics.
I am so grateful to get to expand my herbalism knowledge and to help people heal! I am so excited to continue to learn more.
I will be attending a Medicine making and gardening with the moon class this weekend and will keep you all posted as well.
