I found it interesting how ripped up this European Union flag was although still flying outside the Castel Sant'Angelo in Rome, Italy. Italy was going through a bit of turmoil under the Euro at the time, and Greece was about to bail. Not sure if things are better now, but I found the ripped flag an interesting metaphor for the disunity in the union.
