Chicory - Colorchallenge Friday blue

This is my entry for #colorchallenge.

Greetings, friends, a couple of days ago I saw the first chicory that bloomed this year.

This plant can predict the weather. If the petals are open, the weather will be good. If the petals are curled into a bud, cloudy weather is expected.

In recent days, the petals are always open, the heat, the rain we only dream.

About the healing properties of this plant are legends. The root of this plant, dried root powder, is an essential ingredient for various types of coffee. This is a natural flavoring.

I thought that the coffee drink from chicory was a relic of the Soviet Union, but, I was wrong. And today, I see various dry extracts for beverages on store shelves.

But, you need to drink these drinks carefully, they increase blood pressure.

To all this, Chicory is a very beautiful flower and a ticket on blue Friday.
