ColorChallenge Thursday Green - Falling Over Rocks

 Falls New Hamp.jpg

So, last night, I was talking about a shot I did recently, a waterfall, in winter with ice.
Someone had asked about shots of falls with lots of greenery. She mentioned she has never seen a waterfall in person. Only pictures. I was a bit stunned, and then realized, I get to see some wonderful, amazing beauty of this world.

I will not let myself forget that, when I am out shooting, next time.
This shot of the brook tumbling over rock, was perfect for The Color Challenge - Thursday Green - photo challenge started by @kalemandra.

Congratz, your post has been resteemed and, who knows, will maybe appear in the next edition of the #dailyspotlights (Click on my face if you want to know more about me...)

Beautiful scenery..did you use filter or something?

If you shoot long exposure, like this, it will be really overexposed, unless you use a filter.
I shot 6 seconds, so, I used a Variable Neutral Density filter.
It allows me to rotate the filter, to block more light, to get a better shot, and NOT all overexposed.

I talk a bit more about it, here:

Green is my favourite colour, that photo looks very much to the place I live in :)

It is an awesome place. AND would make for a cool shot with you and your wispy white Ice Princess outfit. Maybe like a Forest Queen?

I have all kinds of green wispy dresses too hahahah Green is my favourite colour :) I literally obsess by it :). Thanks for the compliment.

Great and unusual waterfall capture!

The day was lots of fun, Diane!
