Altilia (Sepino) - an incredible Roman town near where I live in Italy: the lawns there are particularly beautiful and daisy-laden, as they're cropped by lovely cows.
Pine needles, from a treeling that I 'saved' from under two large pines that live near me.
And an aerial shot of High Corrie, Isle of Arran - which I'm afraid I don't have a credit for (I've tried searching on Google Image Search but it doesn't identify anything) - it might be from my older brother's drone, or a neighbour in the clachan... This is where I grew up, and where I got my passion for lawns with daisies in :-)
Happy Thursday to you all - much colour, depth and meaning!
Clare xx

Yey - Altilia is really beautifully preserved - it's not much of a tourist destination, because there's Rome, Naples and all the Pompei region stuff going on nearby, but it's an absolute gem and a wonderfully peaceful place - there's a lovely little museum there, too - very much worth a visit, in all!
