I took this photo on the beach of Old Hunstanton, on the Norfolk coast of England. This is one of my favourite beaches in the UK, as I love the contrasting colours of these cliffs.
The orange, red and white sedimentary rocks are reflecting the changing depositional conditions towards the end of the Early Cretaceous and the onset of the Late Cretaceous 108-99 million years ago (mya).
If you like collecting fossils, kite or windsurfing, then this beach is ideal for you. It's famous of being the best kite surfing beach in England. It's something I am yet to try out. :-)
