Colour challenge | SaturdayIndigo: Barbary Nut Iris

The Gynandriris sisyrinchium, commonly known as barbary nut, is a dwarf iris species that occurs in the mediterranean shrublands and woodlands, like those we have in the southern portuguese regions, such as Alentejo or the Algarve.

It's another mediterranean plant with extremely beautiful indigo flowers, as you can see in the photo below ...
