As winter approaches this is something to wait for in spring. In Portugal the wait is going to a lot shorter. Wen the rain comes in the all everything greens up and some single flower pop here and there. They all start to bloom like if there is no tomorrow around February.. March. And this is when I took this photo.

It is nice how things green up with the return of rain in the autumn. That's what's happening here in Oregon now -- thank goodness! I've got mushrooms on the brain, though! I'm out looking for mushrooms, more mushrooms. Maybe because it was so dry this summer. Now you will have some greens weeds that will be good to eat! ; )
