Monday Minnow Tips and a Bonus Car

Today I am giving you the Monday Minnow Tip to join the Discord channel for everything you are active on at steemit.

I could not even figure out how to get on Discord until recently, but now I am joining channels like crazy. I don’t even know what I am doing there on a technical level, but still, Discord is really helping me now.

The best benefit so far is getting notified when important posts come out, so I do not miss them. The relief for that alone makes it worth my while.

The second best benefit is getting to talk to people I know much easier than out on steemit. Wow! What a difference.

Here are my top Discord tips so far:

• Join every Discord Invite you see!
  If you are involved with anything on steemit, their Discord Channel will help you
• Mute what you do not need to see once you get there
  You can mute the entire channel or just pieces of it. I mute technical topics, since I do not need to see the alerts, for one example. You can still see the information, but you will not get dinged each time someone posts there.
• Introduce yourself when asked or given the opportunity
  I have been able to talk about my weight loss information many times now!
• Take advantage of post promotion opportunities
  I am developing a "To Do" list of where to post my links after I post on steemit. I had a lot of places already. Now I have many more thanks to Discord.
• Be sure to visit other people’s posts they are promoting
  Fair is fair, friends. If we do not support each other, who will?
• Check Discord a few times a day – keep up to date!
• Do not check Discord every few minutes – Don’t waste time!
