Holy Holi
I had been in India for a few months now. I kept hearing all around India about the Holi festival. It was supposed to be a one of a kind experience of colour, celebration and dance.
Holi is a celebration dedicated to the coming of spring, to good overcoming evil..
And it truly felt like a homage to life and love.
I was in Pushkar, this small holy city on the near edge of the desert. This calm place turned into a town wide celebration with colours being thrown by everyone at everyone and everywhere. Music is blasting from all around and people are dancing, laughing and celebrating life to its fullest.
Words will not do it any justice, it is an experience for the totality of your senses.
Great photos! Love it :)
