Many people wonder why this phenomenon, What exactly happens? and where the beautiful colors that the sky emits come from.

The answer is the following, this phenomenon is exclusive of the atmospheric interaction with the solar rays that hit the magnetic field of the Earth, sending electrons charged with energy towards the poles, both North and South, causing the emergence of the plasma, the which we know as auroras. These can be observed at certain times of the year, between the months of September and October.

They are called Aurora Borealis, when they occur at the North Pole and Australasian auroras when they occur at the South Pole. Their colors derive in function of the chemical composition of the gases that predominate at different heights, generating colors such as red, blue, green, purple and yellow.
