This is my entry for @kalemandra's ColorChallenge - FridaySkyBlue.
I was staring at the blue sky one day, let's say it was on a Friday, and up above a pair of bald eagles was circling, climbing higher and higher. Were they trying to reach the moon? It certainly appeared that way, so I waited and waited... eventually, they moved to the perfect spot and I was able to go 'click'!

Great photo @keithboone! You couldn't pay someone to get that photo ;)

Thank you, my friend! What you don't see, and I didn't mention, are the crows and seagulls just out of the frame. They had teamed up and were taking runs at both of the eagle pair, trying to drive them out of the area. These smaller birds always seem so brave to me. In response, the eagles were calmly circling higher and higher and eventually left the "pests" below. It was almost as if they were climbing for the moon, and how lucky is it they eventually lined up like this in the frame! I took a lot of shots while waiting and hoping :)
