GREEN COLOR HAS ALWAYS BEEN SO SPECIAL FOR US STEEMIANS

Today is the green Thursday. This picture is a puregreen without editing to look monochromatic image. To focus the green color, I used the portrait effect in an iphone. It was taken early in March during our stay in Malate, Metro Manila. My sister and I ate at the Grand Regency Restaurant around 12 noon. Before that, I was freaking to pack our things alone before the midday. My sister only booked three days in such condotel but we found out that the days we spent was not enough because my sister was not finished yet in her medical test in St.Luke. So, before 12, I called the front desk over the telephone if we could extend our stay. But since the place is fully booked, they cannot do it. True, Birch Tower is always fully booked when we peek them in bookings.com.

My sister supposed to arrive around 11:30 am, but she chatted me she can get her test around 1 pm. She said we will move in another place and she wasn't worried about it while me was indeed worried how can I bring all our things alone to the lobby. I should ask the desk for assistance but I never liked to talk so I struggled to bring all our things down to the lobby. I gave the key and card to the front desk but suddenly they said I left my sister's jewelry.

The reason why I don't like travelling is when the time to stay in hotel is over 'coz I hate to freak out in packing. I am very forgetful so I am always anxious after packing if I left something. Glad that the employees gave back the jewelry.

Then, I waited for my sister in the lobby. So many strangers tries to approach me but I just responded a smile because of the language barrier. lol. Even uneducated Bisaya can speak Tagalog very well but me, I don't wanna speak that language because I grew up with Bisaya dialect and English and everytime I speak, tagalogs can notice my Bisaya and bulol accent. LoL. It's funny 'coz people there thought I'm Chinese, sometimes Korean, sometimes Japanese, Malaysian and Vietnamese, but I proudly tell 'em I am a pure Filipina with a pure Bisayan dialect. Then they can't believe it. They said my gestures and all of me have no Filipina trademark unless I speak Bisaya.

Certainly, I am a pure Filipino, but I knew that my past was breeded with foreign bloods during the Japanese colonization and Spanish. My grannies look like Spanish while my paternal side, some of them looks Chinese and Japanese because my oldest granny was raped by Japanese army during the Japanese-Filipino battle. But I don't assume to be a foreigner 'coz I am proud to be a Filipino.

Going back to my topic when I waited my sister in the lobby, I was surprised she arrived before 1:30. Then, we ate inside the hotel's cuisine. We ate weiner, kebab, and fruit salad. So far, the staffs were friendly. I was just disappointed why they didn't give us teaspoon for the fruit salad in that sexy glass in the picture, but I was so full. Seems like I ate at the Weegols restaurant in Butuan city, my most favorite restaurant among all cuisines in my place.

Ahh, speaking of green color, do you know it is very special for us Steemians? How often can you hear Steemians saying, "I see green, I see green!" What is your reaction? Surely, you'll be happy 'coz it's a sign that sbd rises and all of us waited to it especially us minnows who are powerless. Now you know how special green is for Steemians! It's a sign of being alive in Steemit world.
