ColorChallenge Sunday Purple You See, I See

You See

An abstract repeating pattern texture that I zapped together this evening.

I See

  • I see my cell phone refusing to give Internet.
  • I see Skype so confused. Cell phone? Computer? Come on pick one! I see about 5 starts before it all stays stable.
  • I see messing with this abstract longer than I needed to because I was also chatting with my daughter while we critiqued one of her graphic design projects.
  • I see that it was easier to just mess around with it because it is exceedingly hard to shift from creating it to editing it while I'm doing something else, too.
    • No. I mean like so hard that I can't even say, "Okay give me a minute to switch programs." I know on one hand that's just a little bit normal. On the other hand it's my ADD. It's just easier to stay where I have focus, than to move to the next step and regain focus. ... See?
  • I see my granddaughter coming to her mommy and saying, "No bed time. I color." And my daughter saying, "Okay, we can color for a little bit."
  • I see my daughter teach my granddaughter in a nanosecond, "Here you can use this pink paper. This is what it feels like to draw a circle."
And zap! just like that my granddaughter is making circles on the pink page ... and the green page. And then the circles morphed into blueberries.
  • I see my daughter and my granddaughter growing so fast.
  • I see my computer crash.
  • I see finishing the call with my daughter on my cell so we can talk about 30 more minutes about at least 6 other topics before we get to the last topic. That last topic that was about to be discussed when my PC Crashed. That last topic that really only needed 4 minutes :)
  • I also see that I'm still feeling touchy about having my work lifted right into someone else's post.
  • I see that this abstract does not repeat because it has been cropped ... and sized down.
  • I see I told my husband I was coming to bed hours ago.

Here you can see the stage one version, too. The difference is that it doesn't have "environment lighting." That's it.

You can write a "You See, I See" #useeisee any time you wish about whatever image sparks your imagination.
You can read the FAQ Here: The Description and Story of "You See, I See" and how it became #useeisee

Also, if this little post sparks your imagination enough for you to leave a real comment, then you may also leave a link to your latest favorite post by yourself OR someone else. The Catch: You must also use the secret word of the day in the comment. Today's secret word is "String." (No. "Nice pic" doesn't count as real. Neither does "I follow, you follow"!)

Ok! Enjoy, Have Fun!

I hope the secret word String will still be the secret work for tomorrow?

Reading all about all the sidelines that no-one would ever dream possible to happen to just one person, while sharing an image or two. To be continued. Off to dream-time.

Yes, the secret for this post will always be string. Will there be a second post by the time you wake? Perhaps.

I See:

  • Children are innately creative.
  • Children grow up and generally only those who keep a connection with their inner 'Peter Pan' can keep their creative nature intact.
  • Some incredibly cosmic purple rocks that I'd love to have some pieces of for my ephemeral art work.
  • I like both images Marilla. The light in the first image is magical but I also like the intensity of the second image (which I gather was the first image?)
  • I want to go to the other side of Australia towards the end of this week.
  • Asking the Universe to provide the air ticket. My mind can't see how it's possible.
  • So I'm going to steem on for all I'm worth this week.
  • Aiming to post 2 to 3 posts a day.
  • WOW was that really me saying that?
  • One down ~ Two to go: Touch of Lightness String.

Funny that you should mention purple rocks! That's exactly what I keep seeing in the top image. Yes, the second image was actually the first. I think I over adjusted the curves in it. That's what I get for tweaking photos at night by the light of old light bulbs!

Did you see an air ticket generate?

And excellent use of String !!

Touch of Lightness Is absolutely beautiful !!

And sometimes I find an image looks darker once it's published, than how I see it in Lightroom. Especially the thumbnails tend to darken the image. Lots to learn still Marilla.

Unfortunately the air ticket to Perth hasn't manifested as yet. Wish I hadn't taken leave of Steemit for 6 months, when I did. 😊

Really pleased you like Touch of Lightness. 🐋🍷🐋
