Hey everyone! I hope your Monday is going well!
I have not done a #colorchallenge in some time, so I decided to do one this week with some inspiration.
It is probably no surprise that many guitarists are influenced by Jimi Hendrix. His innovative contributions to guitar seems limitless.
- Mixing Blues & Rock
- Using the Wammy Bar
- Using Controlled Feedback
- Using Very Experimental Recording Techniques
...and the list goes on and on
I have been collecting vinyl records for a couple of years now, and it seems that anything by Hendrix is my favorite 😊
Maybe the reason for that is not just the guitar playing, but the inspiration as well.
We all go through times when the things we are doing just seem a little bit harder, even when we love them.
It often helps to see/hear something in a different light, or used in a different way to spur us on to push past these roadblocks.
