A rather funny name considering this is no sitting duck 🤣

Very good @nataliemk I see what you did there lol

102 tons traveling at 126 miles per hour...... I am letting that sink in, wow.

It is pretty impressive. They really did an amazing job with the Mallard. The record has never been broken since 1938.

Oh, the beauty of yesteryear! There was a day where the appearance was just as important as its function.

Wood always had the most beautiful markings and the paint job was to be admired. That it was also record-breaking fast was double awesome. This is such an amazing place and I thank you for the audio as I take a walkabout with you.

You give the best tours. Appreciated. Happy Friday! tip!

It's an amazing collection that they have there and they look just fabulous. That they also performed so well is incredible. Beauty and function combined. I am glad you liked this short video tour.
I'm making a one hour documentary video but I'm cutting it up into bite size bits.
I can combine them later as a single video. It makes editing the videos a lot faster.
Thanks for the tip.

Thank you for taking the time with this post. I enjoy a post that actually tells me something worthy. I also enjoy a little fun. :) I look forward to the video!

Worthy and fun that's a tall order lol

You can do it!!! :)

Wow, I can't imagine that speed back in the 30. I'm been at 126 mph in my old Camaro. It was terrifying and exhilarating all at the same time. I wonder how long (in distance) it took for that gigantic thing to slow down!

A very long way lol. At over a 100 tons it's not going to stop on a dime :) weight x velocity etc

It is quite a beautiful machine.
