Green is everywhere in the tropical jungles of Bali.
Hiking down (and back up) to the Tegenungan Watefall is not for the faint of heart. The stairs are ridiculous in number and huge, well at least they seemed that way for my short legs. While you can view the waterfall from above without going down to it, there is nothing better than to be rewarded with the cool mist, soothing sound, and wonderful breeze of being up close to an amazing waterfall. Be cautious, the lower stairs/trail and ground rocks can be slippery.
After the arduous trek back up the stairs, reward yourself with some gelato, or a cold drink from one of the small local warungs. They also sell some amazing and color hand fans at the souvenir booths.
Makes me want to go to Bali! :)
