The Grand Palace, Bankgkok, Thailand - Colorchallenge and Mydailypost

in colorchallenge •  7 years ago

Hi, my friends Steemians!

Hi, @kalemandra and @leyargoz!

This is my entry for

Colorchallenge - initiated by @kalemandra - MondayRed

and

Mydailypost initiated by @sol25 and @leyargoz - Monday - Sky

Photos: The Grand Palace, Bangkok, Thailand. Red roofs on a magical sky. A magnificent complex. And it just caught my attention the message on the parasol saying: Buddha is for respecting. Not decoration.
Not tattoo. There were many messages like this one on several temples and other places I've visited.
What are your thoughts about this? Tell me in the comments!

What a place!

Indeed! Thanks for passing by!

People and their superstitions. Many people like to make tattoos of religious figures, without even knowing whether they are forbidden by those religions. They're being hypocrites... out of ignorance! Then, when they find out, it's too late because the damage has already been done! You can't un-tattoo yourself... at least not easily. :-P

Indeed. I found this information very important and useful as it may bring awareness to people in general. I don't think people remove tattoos, generally.... :)

Made with a professional camera??

Yes, I used a Canon 5D MkIII, thanks for passing by!

Fantastic entry... I used to visit the grand palace when I studied master degree in Chulslongkorn University Bangkok Thailand.

Thanks so much! I'll visit it soon again, I hope! Blessings!

Este palácio é um espanto! Quando souberes que voltas a Bangkok, avisa. Beijinho muito grande, princesa!

Aviso sim, querida. Talvez para a semana. Mil beijinhos!
