These are photos of the green hairstreak (Callophrys rubi), groentje in Dutch.
I found them this year for the first time, and once I had seen the first, I found them in several locations in my region of The Netherlands.
At the Armenveen:
Olympus Stylus 1s, 135mm, ISO100, f5.6, 1/640s
At the Aamsveen:
Olympus Stylus 1s, 42mm, ISO100, f8, 1/400s
Olympus Stylus 1s, 135mm, ISO100, f8, 1/400s
At the Haaksbergerveen:
Olympus Stylus 1s, 135mm, ISO100, f8, 1/400s
Olympus Stylus 1s, 300mm, ISO160, f8, 1/500s
Olympus Stylus 1s, 42mm, ISO100, f8, 1/200s
Note that some of these photos wer made at 42mm, which, as butterfly photography goes, is up close and personal.
Thanks for watching!
I wonder if sheep eat them by mistake :)
