Some purple fungi for your Sunday viewing pleasure:


Olympus Stylus 1s, 42mm, ISO400, f5.6, 1/80s


Olympus Stylus 1s, 42mm, ISO400, f4, 1/8s


Olympus XZ-1, 50mm, ISO100, f8, 1/2s

I think that last one could be an amethyst deceiver (Laccaria amethystina), amethistzwam in Dutch, but I'm not sure.

        OMG they are just beautiful. I have never seen mushrooms in that color before. I love mushrooms and enjoy watching the different photos of them. Great work, I love it. I wish you good luck in the contest and have a nice Sunday!
