I was going through some older folders and came across the perfect picture for today's colour challenge. I really hope you guys like the picture! I really love the orange hue that the sun can give off when it's starting to set. You know I've heard that if you want to find the best light to have your picture taken in or just to be seen in just so happens to be the light from a sunset. I am not sure if that's true or not but I could believe it!
In my humble opinion, it seems to me a beautifully spectacular photograph; with that degradation of darkening of the orange color, it looks incredible. Feliz Navidad.

So you are trying to say that you do not like the vignetting (darkening of the edges) that happened to be a byproduct of the older 70-300 telephoto lens I use from time to time. Believe it or not, this was pretty much straight out of the camera. I think the darkening adds to it and gives it personality but to each their own. I agree that this is very beautiful, @goldcoin. After finding this picture I came across a couple of more with this same type of lightning taken at differentt sunsets. I look forward to getting to publish them. I wish I could take more pictures just like this one but then again that would be too easy. Thanks my dear!

That's pretty amazing. The color are so give and full of life and the centering of the bug is perfect - in the middle of the photo and in the middle of the light from the sun.

Believe it or not, I did not appreciate this picture back when I first took it a couple of years ago. I actually thought it wasn't that great and deemed it as not usable. I am so glad that I am like a packrat when it comes to photographs as I always save everything so because of that I was able to go back and look for it and use it. Since I have learned a good bit about photography I've slowly been going back through all my older photographs and pulling out pictures that I thought wasn't great... For the longest, I tried to have these so-calledd high standards of what I thought a picture should be that I would go and take pictures but lets say out of 100 pictures maybe 5 would be good enough for me. Now it's like I am rediscovering a goldmine of pictures. Anyhow, sorry for getting off topic here. Thanks for your support, @kivsha!
