Color Challenge - SundayPurple - Digital Art...It's What's for Dinner!

I had the pleasure of having dinner with my friend, Lori, the other night. As she finished her salad prep, she was about to put everything back in the refrigerator but had left out one of the ingredients because she thought I might want so snap a few pictures and play around. She knows me so well...sometimes better than I know myself.

Here is what I came up. See if you can guess my secret ingredient before you scroll all the way to the bottom for the big reveal.

This is the result of some playtime in Photoshop...a very different look for me. I find the textured look interesting.

More Photoshop fiddling took me on a journey being sucked further and further into a vortex. Wahooo!!!

This design was created completely in my iPhone. This process is always a sure fire way for me to unwind, sometimes I become quite entranced. A friend of mine once told me that I don't ever need to drink or smoke weed...I'm good at tripping out all on my own. I will take that as a compliment. ;)

Well, here it is! A little red cabbage, some interesting shadows and voila! Good times!!!

Thanks for coming along with me on my pre-dinner trip. I hope it makes you take a second or even third look at what you put on your plate...patterns are everywhere!

I never would have guessed it was a cabbage! :D

The designs I posted were quite a way down the line in the process. I didn't really give you a fair chance to guess. ;)

How does color challenge work. You just add the tag? I recognize the days and colours now but I am not sure if there are additional guidelines.
