Sometimes if I don't have a photo to post, I'll just scroll through my library to see if anything catches my attention. I don't normally shoot many close ups of patterns, but when I was in Tangier, the tile in the courtyard of my hotel really caught my attention.
Generally speaking, blue is my favorite color and these tiles were spectacular to see in person as they lined the walls of the courtyard. For a wider view, these tiles are along the wall in the background here:
I'm finding that the fun of Steemit is taking the time to look back at photos and remember why you took these photos in the first place!

I love pictures of colorful and beautifully laid tiles, especially moroccan floor or wall tiles are like artworks! Nice bright color in the first pic!

Very cool, just the kind of thing I think of when I think of Morocco. I think it will definitely be somewhere we'll end up exploring once we get the travel bug again! I'm still not feeling the wanderlust yet but I'm sure it will return!
