At first glance, the tiny dots on leaves may look like an insect infestation or a spotted foliar disease. However, on closer inspection, you can see that these structures, which are commonly called “fruit dots,” are lined up in such an orderly fashion that they appear to be there by design -- which, in fact, they are.
