Color Challenge - Tuesday Orange - A Shallow Depth of Orange

in colorchallenge •  7 years ago

A photo of the blistering rusting orange paint on my grass collector.

It was a good day to capture the colour orange as it was snowing at the time and the sky was overcast which had the effect of saturating the colour more.

I used the largest focal length (about 55) on my lense and used a small aperture (5.6) to create a shallow depth of field.

The photo was shot using a Nikon D40 DSLR

It is snowing here in my area of the United Kingdom today and the sky acts like a giant soft box which dissipates the light nicely for good shots during midday.
