ColorChallenge - FridaySkyBlue - Hydrangea

This Hydrangea blossom turns blue due to the acidity in the soil. If the soils ph is towards the alkaline side the blossoms tend to be pink.

verybeautiful flower @sunscape

Thank you!

Very pretty @sunscape, love the sky blue color. I just walked outside and took a picture of one of our hydrangeas that is beginning to blossom. I didn't realize that the soil PH is what determined color characteristics, nice!

It looks like you are right on the boarder of both as I see pink and some blue on the same blossoms. Nice!

Beautifully photographed. 🙏

Love the blue hydrangeas at all stages of their blooming: Particularly when they first start coming into flower and the tiny flowers are paler. Such subtly within each individual flower. 🙏

I could take photos of them all day long. I love using my macro lens to catch the character of the petals. so beautiful.

Nice photo @sunscape

Thank you so kindly for your compliment @reenamathew have a wonderful day.
