ColorChallenge - SundayPurple Osteospermum Daisy

This purple daisy is one of my favorite annual flowers for edging the border of the sun garden. I keep them close to the front because they stay relatively small due to our short growing season.

They love being fertilized on a regular monthly schedule to boost their budding well into fall. Watering them a lot is very important, if they happen to dry out they tend to go into sleep mode and stop producing flower buds to survive the drought. However, they do like a well-drained soil mix so that the roots will not rot, especially if you plant them in patio containers.

They would make a great addition to your gardens, and I hope you consider giving them a try. Happy Gardening everyone.
