Walking through the gardens in search of something of interest for ThursdayGreen, and lo and behold this little guy was sunning on a Peony leaf. Well I couldn't resist taking his picture and he is on a "Green" leaf. ;-)

I created my gardens one at a time, sometimes two over a few years after moving into this home 20 years ago. There was nothing in this yard but overgrown brush and insect ridden trees. I had to remove 28 seriously diseased trees to create the gardens that border my entire property. It was a progressive work. Now, I get to enjoy watching nature enjoy the fruits of my labor.

I am in my gardens with my husband everyday working in some fashion. We are both retired now, I just had my 62 birthday this week. We enjoy taking care and growing our own food and flowers to make a natural habitat for all of the creatures.
