Kalanggaman is a small island with a long pristine white sandbar sourrounded by crystal clear blue water. Even though it is a small island there are plenty of things to do and to discover. Besides chilling at the beach you can go snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking and even ride a Jet Ski or a Banana Boat. Just to name a few things.
During our stay in Malapascua we decided to go on a day trip to visit this beatiful little island paradise. The ride from Malapascua takes around 1-2 hours and it can also be reached from Leyte. If you decide to go there, please keep in mind that you have to pay an environmental fee before you can go on the island. International tourist have to pay 500Php and locals have to pay a fee of 150Php. Kalanggaman is definitely worth a visit and if you want you can even bring a tent and spend the night there.
