Color Challenge Wednesday Yellow - "IF TREES WERE PEOPLE" ~ © Tiffany E. Reed

If trees were people...

The OAKS would be the construction workers, the factory employees...

The HICKORIES and CHESTNUTS would be the shopkeepers, the grocers...

The SYCAMORES would be the doctors, the nurses, the CNAs...

The PINES would be the politicians, the CEOs...
while the ELMS might be lawyers, diplomats...

But the MAPLES! Oh, the MAPLES!
With their brilliant, showy colors, they would be the artists, the photographers, the writers, the dreamers, those who color our world and make it beautiful!

What a wonderful comment! Thank you so much! 😊

Hey Ms Tiffany,
You forgot the cowboys, can't forget cowboys. Cowboys can be trees too.
I'll help you out here. "Mesquite trees are the cowboys, providing the flavor of and to the beef".
Yep, cowboys , like mesquite trees, are often overlooked as being important and useful until people want that delicious juicy flame broiled steak.
No need to thank me, just trying to help you add some more flavor to your beautiful work.
@sultnpapper

Oh, yes, the MESQUITE trees are the cowboys!
I will absolutely go with that analogy!
I would also have accepted if you'd said "cottonwood," too, as I understand those to be common in your area as well. But the mesquite is a working-wood, working on the grill...! Yum!
Thanks for sharing that additional tree to the list! 😊

wonderful light!

Lovely shade. So amazing, you still going on the Golden autumn. At a time when my world is covered with snow canvas.

Yes, autumn comes late to the area where I live, but we had snow two days ago, so winter has finally arrived... brrrr! LOL! Thank you for stopping by and saying, "Hello!," sweetie! 😊
