ColorChallenge - SundayPurple - A Monumental Day on the California Coast

Awesome photos and story!!!!! This so reminds me of my trip to Horseshoe Mesa in the Grand Canyon quite a few years ago. It took two and a half hours to hike down to spend the night and 5 hours to get back to the top the next day.Water truly is life. When I visit California I will correctly call this place "Success Mountain"but only after I've personally made it to the top.

Thank you! I am a firm believer in sharing our stories...putting ourselves out there. You never know the connections you might make!

Thankfully, my trip to the Grand Canyon came after my Big Sur hikes. Even then, we still almost ran out of water but, man, what a trip!!! Pictures don't do it justice.

Making that hike part of a trip to California is a great choice. Big Sur stretches quite a way down the coast and the views are unforgettable. Contact me when you get here and I will gladly make the trek up "Success Mountain" with you!

I totally agree about the Grand Canyon! All of the pictures of it are in my head and imprinted into my heart...(I didn't have a camera or a passion for photography then) That would be awesome ! Absolutely. Looks like I'll have time to prepare so you don't dust me lol :~)

LOL! I have I feeling I would not "dust" you!
