Lovely Orange Flowers Tuesday Orange Color Challenge

On this fall Tuesday, here are some of my favorite orange flowers that I have photographed over the last few years.

Once again, here is a zinnia, which is a fantastic long lasting flower and butterfly magnet. Butterflies love sipping nectar from these flowers. Zinnias also make a great cut flower if you want to make an arrangement.

These orange roses were in a bouquet my husband bought me a couple of years ago. They were some long stemmed beauties that lasted at least 10 days, which is great for roses!

Royal Poinciana or Flamboyant tree blossoms.
Depending on the light these flowers look more orange than red when you look at the tree from far away.
I photographed these blossoms in the Florida Keys this past summer.

The above photos are tiger lilies. These had grown to a height of at least 4 feet tall.
Second photo shows some I cut to bring inside to enjoy and then the last photo show my children with them so you can see how tall the tiger lilies are. Hint my son is over 6 ft tall! My mother-in-law had these tiger lilies in her backyard in Oklahoma. I just thought they were magnificent!
