Bumper cars on a funfair in germany. Amazing lights at night.
The development of bumper cars began in the American amusement park Coney Island. In the first two decades of the 20th century, the automobile attracted a great deal of attention; the intention was to make this "rich people's toy" accessible to ordinary people.
In Germany, autoscooters were first seen at the Grand Exhibition Düsseldorf 1926 "GeSoLei" 1926 in Düsseldorf. 60 percent of the exhibition grounds presented themselves as fairgrounds. Already in the following year, Peter Tusch from Krefeld presented its first car scooter at the big Moers fair in 1927.
