Nature reclaims abandoned project.

yes sir cosmiccrimes it was the only way that we got it was because of the damages to it, it had been water damaged from a water heater in the attic with busted pipes which ruined alot of the drywall so most of the walls had been gutted and no repairs had been made so it looked like a wreck!

And it WAS a wreck, we still haven't gotten it all repaired. But yeah nature had taken it over, the outside was totally covered in poison ivy, you couldn't see out of any of the windows, it was bad. completely full of scorpions. at least one snake! lol.
It took some work to get it livable. had to rent a bush hog to get the 8 ft tall grass, weeds and trees cut down all around the house. lol.

And I thought my house needs repairs lol. We don't have scorpions here.

ha! it IS a challenge that's for sure. what kind of repairs does your house need?

The house is structurally strong. The foundation is and walls are very strong. The bathroom upstairs needs to be redone and electrical work. The windows need to be updated. The porch needs some repairs. That the biggest thing.

well as long as it's structurally sound then the other stuff can be remodeled as you go along. Do you know how to do the repairs?

I have done some plumbing work. That's about it. I have been debating to sell the house so that I can buy a piece of property. so that way I don't own any more money to the evil banks. Simplify my life.

yes sir I really like that idea too.
