Pansies • Colourful Photography

A picture of potted pansies...

Here is another photo for the colourful photography contest. The high desert can provide beautiful colors if enough water is present. A deep well can access underground rivers that flow from the mountains. Add that water to sunshine and a little shade from a tree and
voilà... yellow and purple abound!

I photographed the pansies with my Canon 5D camera and 70-200 mm lens.

    They are in someone's garden in the desert so they get plenty of water. In the desert they would not survive without a human caretaker!

    I have never seen this type of flowers (although to be honest I do not know much about flowers) ... The truth is that they are very nice friend @otage
