Opalescent Nudibranch-1.jpg

These colourful little creatures are Opalescent Nudibranchs and this one is scouring this Pink Soft Coral for any morsel of food. Only growing to about 2 cm. long, their bright colours are a stark contrast to their land bound cousins.

Great shot! Where did you take this shot?

Browning Wall, Port Hardy British Columbia Canada. Thanks for checkin it out.

This is B.C. ? Great shot! I had no idea these well dressed critters were hanging out. Vancouver is my home town but we moved to California when i was a kid so i haven't done much swimming there...haha, especially in a full wetsuit with a water camera! Thank you for getting in that cool water and getting the shot for us warmer water folks!

Thanks. I will check out the location by time. I am fascinated by underwater photography.

Wow, I've got to learn how to scuba dive. I love snorkeling in the tropics, but I never really knew there was this beauty right here in Canada!
