A year ago, to date, I held a little fundraiser for my son, instead of a birthday party. The proceeds where donated to a Baby Home that is very close to our hearts. The home houses abandoned babies until they are adopted by their forever families. Since we do a lot of volunteer work for the home, my son has made friends with the kids who are around his age, which for me is very heart-warming to see.

Watching these children of all colours play and interact with each other is a true depiction of their innocence. If only we as adults would embrace our differences and see past the colour of one’s skin.
