Matial Art is not for hurting people, it is saving people from getting hurt. Martial is only for self defense. Some parents think if their kids learn martial arts, they will have a fight with other kids. You can see the opposite picture. Besides learning self defense, your kids can learn a lot of things that can make him a better person.

There were great martial arts out there. For example, Bruce Lee's teacher - Ip Man, AKA, Yip Man. Maybe you have watched the Ip Man Movies. Here's one of the clips.

Bruce Lee learned martial arts from IP Man at the beginning of his career. We all talk and praise Bruce Lee's fighting skills and speed. He learned Wing Chun and later, he learned other martial arts. That's why you see some Wing Chun moves in this fighting.

Bruce Lee introduced Jeet Kune Do - The way of the intercepting fist. In short, it is called JKD. He shared his fighting concept. He had the experience of fighting in real life. If you want to learn martial art, I always recommend learning martial arts from martial experts. There are many things that you might not learn just watching a video or reading a post.

Of course, reading articles about martial arts and watching videos can help you in the journey of learning martial arts. But it's not all. Let's talk about intercepting the attack.

When someone punches you, you defend and then attack. But you can intercept the punch as well. The moment you see the little moves of your opponent, you punch him fast and your punch hits him before his punch reaching you. You can intercept the kick. Your opponent raises his leg to kick, but you have already kicked him.

When we face a situation in real life where you are being attacked, if you can intercept the attackers' intention, you can defend yourself. The attacker attacks you, there are some reasons behind that. As soon as you detect that, you can make your moves effectively to defend yourself.

This is the first episode of Intercepting The Intention For Self Defense. I will continue next time. Thank you so much for reading this post. If you like martial arts and want to learn more about self defense, you can follow me @RezoanulVibes. You can also check out some of my recent posts.
