This one is tricky. Despite the eagles sharp claws and strength it won't stand a chance against the komodo dragon. The eagle will be able to do some damage for sure but all it takes is a good placed bite by the komodo dragon and the fight is over.

I think Eagle deals more with lesser animals while hunting. And even if it should make use of its claw or beak, the skin of Komodo is quite a hard one too.
And besides, if the eagle wants to win, t has to get to the ground, and on the ground, lies the strength of komodo.

I think I will give this one to the Eagle. I know the Eagle would not be able to carry off a full grown komodo dragon, but the talons of the Eagle would tear the eyes out of the komodo, and I think the Eagle would be able to avoid the bite of the komodo pretty easy, so stamina speed and agility I have to give to the Eagle, and his talons, especially after seeing the close-ups of the two engaged Eagles my wife got the other day. I resteemed if people want to see what two Eagles tied in flight look like.
