There's often the misconception that men aren't suppose to be scared, that we always have to be ready for whatever life throws at us. That we grab the bull by the horns(or balls if you're gay), kill snakes and generally should be the first shield of defence for our family and loved ones.
The truth is, I'm perpetually scared, I have legitimate fears that haunt me when I close my eyes. Fears that live in my mind and trouble the recesses of my mind, like the thought of living in a one room apartment with my wife and four kids; I'm scared of ever being that broke, so I push my self. My fear gets even more profound at the possibility that 5 of them may not even be from my balls.
Fears, worries or whatever you call them, they leave me really worried. Like right now, I'm really scared of failing. I'm currently running a masters program in aircraft engineering and I'm dealing with the culture shock that comes with the switch. Failing is not an option and it really scared I may not get laid through out the 18month period; I've been super busy with acclimatisation that I haven't been able to do regular hoe stuff I'm meant to do. Fuck my Life
