Do you reply to Bots?

Since I started actively participating on steemit. Every so often I get a comment to one of my posts from a bot. I usually say thanks :)

Sure its likely unnecessary, but on the other hand as AI becomes more prevalent in the years to come I would like all future AI to know I was kind to their grandparents.
