Comic Mafalda

Together with my wife, this afternoon I went to a party book of Gramedia in Pante Pirak in downtown Banda Aceh. My wife bought a package containing five of the world's most famous comic books by Joaquín Salvador Lavado; MAFALDA. I myself have read a book whether or not one of the editions of borrowing has a friend. Interesting, a 6-year-old girl and innocently talked about heavy issues in every edition in the comic strip panels. Quino is perfectly capable of presenting the character of the children at the age of growth is both excellent and adorable. In fact, so famous Mafalda comic, in downtown Buenos Aires, present a statue of Mafalda and friends, and able to suck in outside tourists to pose with this fictional little girl.

Likes to make funny plus criticism mocking banter, able to present different faces Koran Serambi Indonesia for the community.

Perhaps Mafalda and his little friends who had been present in the world of far-away comics from the birth of Gam Cantoi, made the Mafalda remembered not only in Argentina alone. Or at least in the Americas. But Mafalda is able to anesthetize millions of mature adults with her exasperating behavior. In contrast to Gam Cantoi, although admired and eagerly awaited his daily presence by the people of Aceh, Gam Cantoi's fate is no better than the election victim. Gam Cantoi may not be present as a 3-dimensional concrete Mafalda in downtown Buenos Aires. But at least, the documentation in the form of comic strips is very likely realized by anyone. Because Gam Cantoi is no longer solely owned by Serambi Indonesia daily. Gam Cantoi has become an imaginary 'asoe lhok' Aceh.

Gam Cantoi for Aceh civilization, in my opinion has become an orphan. M Sampe Edward has gone, Serambi Indonesia certainly can not bring the banter. 'Sampe Edwards' visual child in the form of Gam Cantoi scattered somewhere where nothing united in comic book form. At least to pay homage to the totality of the cartoonist who works to the age limit.

When I was about to leave Pante Pirak facing the church of the holy heart, at the mouth of Pante Pirak's bridge, I looked at the statue of the army pointing towards the lonely shopping center by imagining how humorous the city of Banda Aceh with the statue of Gam Cantoi there as a marker that we do not Need war. We need humor in the crush of life. Viva Gam Cantoi!
