Here is a cool book you don't see too often. This is Shock Suspenstories #17 From 1954, considered an Atom Age book.
I got this book from the sale of a single owner collection. It had been graded by the company that was selling them for the owner. I love the old horror comics, especially Avon and EC. Just beautiful art and stories in these books! Oh, and this particular comic included the original mailer the comic was sent to!
